ABOUT

I’m Chelsea Hope. My parents say “Hope” was meant for hope in the world. Or in the case of my infamous ESPN moment: I hope the Jayhawks don’t screw this up. Spoiler alert: they won. And I now hold the record in my family for longest air time: 18 seconds.

When I’m not cheering on a Kansas team to greatness, I am creating. I’ve been an art director at Leo Burnett on a CPG brand for over 6 years working within the digital, print and promotions space. I also write, shoot photo and video and even research (I am an AD with a degree in Behavioral Science after all).

Outside of advertising, I have a background in sports: working within an Athletic Department, art directing for sports radio and even designing athletic apparel.

I have a deeply rooted interest in live music, travel and documenting the world. I love to meet people as I explore new places and bring their story to life through the art of photography & cinema.

I have a curiosity that never quits. Whether it’s wanting to learn motion skills for work or to be trained in how to operate a CNC machine in a wood shop for the hell of it. I believe in continuously feeding my thirst for knowledge (yay for building new neural pathways #NerdAlert). And let’s not forget my living room shuffle dance class phase. Some people baked bread during 2020, I attempted to master the running man.
